The Maremorto Beach (in English: Dead sea), is located in the homonymous area halfway between Punta Santavenere and the Port of Maratea.
In close proximity to the port there is the "Darsena" , a small marina with a natural ravine used for small boats: towards Punta Santavenere instead there is a private beach, which is a natural continuation Maremorto, Cent'ammari call (hundred fishhooks)
It is located where i's probably the most beautiful point of Maratea style coast, in a natural setting of Baroque beauty,
surrounded by pine trees, which overlooks the sixteenth Santavenere tower, located on the homonymous promontory, where in Greek magno centuries they practiced the cult of the beauty's goddess .
The rocks of Calicastru complete the idyllic picture, almost like guarding the beauty of these places.
