Move in Maratea. Timetable of bus services
To move in Maratea it is advisable to use the car but especially in the summer season there are bus services that can help you move between the attractions and the beaches of Maratea. (see also Local Trains - Metro Maratea).
On this page you will find all the timetables of the buses that connect the various locations of Maratea as well as the addresses of the Bus services that run services from other locations to and from Maratea.
In addition to the URBAN SERVICE of local public transport (whose buses are recognizable by the characteristic orange color livery) there are other Extraurban lines serving the marine fractions of Cersuta and Acquafredda (BUS COSTA NORD), as well as the mountain hamlets of Santa Caterina, Brefaro and Massa (BUS BORGHI ALTI.) Also in the south the marine fractions of Marina and Castrocucco are frequently connected to the Historic Center (BUS COSTA SUD)

LOCAL PUBLIC TRANSPORT City of Maratea
The service connects the Old Town to the hamlets of Fiumicello, Porto, Stazione di Maratea C. as well as some trips to and from the Castello Redentore, Cersuta Acquafredda, Castrocucco.
In the summer (from 27/6 to 5/9) the urban service is enhanced, especially in favor of the Centro Storico - Fiumicello - Railway Station of Maratea C. - Porto, with runs that continue until after midnight.
As an example, the first race from the Old Town (Piazza Vitolo) to the Port is at 8.45 am; the last one from the Port is at 01:20.
