CERSUTA of MARATEA
Clear. Spectacular descents to the sea...
To the north, towards Campania, Cersuta is the first village one encounters halfway up the hill, named from the dialect term "CERSA," which means oak tree.
Among the various beaches, very convenient and quiet, the one located below the tower at CAPO LA NAVE is worth mentioning
APPREZZAMI THE DONKEY, called " 'A NASTRU" (the tape) and that of " RENA CARRUBA" (walnut beach), accessible only by sea.
To visit the Skywalk Maratea, a stunning transparent terrace overlooking the sea.

Tower "appreciate me the ass"
The tower stands above the sea, on a rocky outcrop overlooking a section of State Route 18 (specifically a curve) that was abandoned after a tunnel was built through the mountain.
This point is one of the most panoramic in Maratea because it represents in some way the watershed between the southern and northern coast.
The name of the Tower comes from the custom of bargaining over the value of the donkey that was supposed to plunge into the sea to allow the donkey coming from the opposite direction to pass.
This happened on a very narrow mule track right above the sea, where only one person could pass at a time without being able to go back.
