Move in Maratea. Timetable of bus services
To move around Maratea it is advisable to use a car, but especially in the summer there are bus services that can help to get around between the attractions and beaches of Maratea. (see also Local Trains - Metro Maratea).
On this page you will find all the bus schedules connecting the various locations in Maratea, as well as the contact details of the bus companies that provide services to and from Maratea from other locations.
In addition to the URBAN SERVICE of local public transport (whose buses are recognizable by their orange livery), there are also Extra-Urban lines serving the coastal fractions of Cersuta and Acquafredda (BUS COSTA NORD), as well as the mountain fractions of Santa Caterina, Brefaro, and Massa (BUS BORGHI ALTI). To the south, the coastal fractions of Marina and Castrocucco are frequently connected to the Historic Center (BUS COSTA SUD)

Urban Service Department of Maratea
The service connects the Historic Center to the fractions of Fiumicello, Porto, Maratea C. Station, as well as some runs to and from the Castello Redentore, Cersuta Acquafredda, Castrocucco.
In the summer, the Urban service is enhanced, especially for movements between the Historic Center - Fiumicello - Maratea C. Railway Station - Port, with runs continuing well past midnight.
