grande maratea.......sono un ragazzo di maratea che però abito a reggio emilia...ragazzi avete la fortuna di vivere ogni giorno la bellezza di quel paese io ho tutta la mia famiglia lì a maratea,ma ci rendiamo conto che non ci stimo dando una mossa nel migliorare la nostra città? ho 18 anni e il futuro è nelle nostre mani. sbrighiamocci incominciamo ad apprezzare le cose quando le si ha,e non quando le si perde...incominciamo a fare qualcosa di buono per maratea,ad esempio perchè non fare un giornale di maratea? e chiamarlo non so:maratea neuw,la gazzetta di maratea.il giornale di maratea, il giorno di maratea,buongiorno maratea dove scrivere davvero tutto moda cultura notizie che interessano la nostra cittadina,però dai raga facciamo in fretta.a maratea ci siamo fatti scappare tutto dal cinema al teatro..e poi insomma basta vivere la giornata,bisogna progettare,creare e non stare dalla mattina alla sera al bar senza fare un cazzo, bere per poi fare cosa? non guardiamo solo i nostri interessi,pensiamo un po di più a maratea.ragazzi credetemi io vorrei fare tante cose per maratea e anche se sono lontano da voi,sto già lavorando,il mondo,il paese cambia se cambiamo noi,e poi non prendiamoccela con la politica,assessori e sindaci siamo noi che adesso dobbiamo cambiare.......forza ragazzi non bisogna mollare mai nella vita, lottiamo , creiamo,inventiamo però cambiamo il nostro paese

Dear Friends of Maratea, I wanted to point out that St. Blaise is also the Patron Saint of Orbetello, where he has been venerated since 1600 and where his skull is kept in the cathedral!!

on August 26, 2006, I visited San Biagio with my father-in-law and my son. I appreciated the new parking and shuttle device. Now for 38 years I have been enchanted by beautiful panoramas and the sea that I carry in my heart always. I made purchases for myself and others and had something at the bar. Then I asked for the restroom and there was the unpleasant surprise. I found myself in front of a table on which was mounted a sign that indicated with an arrow the toilets and had the following inscription: BEFORE ENTERING DO YOUR DUTY under which in plain view a saucer. I confess that I was offended as a person and as a tourist. In my small 20 euros of total spending do not seem to me neither few nor many but I think it is not right to impose tips on visitors to use a service that should be normally guaranteed. Also another person noticed the inscription in his case he had been given the key to access and verbally communicated to do your duty.....I support that in addition to DUTIES rights are important in this case the last ones have been forgotten.

Be aware of construction abuses.... I returned after a few years but things are getting worse. If this continues, a few will profit while the entire population will suffer...Watch out, there is a risk of selling out and then it will be the end. A friend

Maratea is beautiful, but lately, with the help of the dear mayor, construction firms are doing everything to ruin it (see the Marina area, the panoramic view, at the foot of Monte Coccovello). The only thing we have that is beautiful is the landscape, citizens open your eyes, wake up, because it is also yours.......

I am Daniel from Argentina just arrived from Italy....and yes....I have a house in a town near Maratea..........so we go to the beach of ........!!!!MARATEA:.......yes our black beach...but no everything is fine........... The day of August 21st...was bad..very bad..and a wave took my son and it brought him inside....after a lot of time..for me..it was a lot..a young man took him out..to him and his friends THANK YOU from the whole Giacoia family !!!!!!!!!!!! Well in this beach the lifeguards..clean..near..good.....very bad without lifeguards. a danger !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I love Maratea, its landscape, its inhabitants, and the carefree lifestyle that accompanies it, but I felt unfulfilled in this gem and so I escaped. Now that I'm far away, it misses me!!!!!!

I've been away at sea for about 5 years. Greet my beautiful little house, my bougainvillea, my friends, and especially, maybe via email, send me the scent of the sea, the air, the olives of that wonderful land. I am of Maratea descent, but I live 300 km further north. Hi everyone.
