Hello. I would like to find the birth certificate of Biagio Brando around 1829/30. This gentleman settled as a coppersmith in Caravaca (Spain), marrying a Spanish woman. I believe he must have returned to Maratea and did not come back, as I cannot find his death record. I found out that I have a great-great-grandfather named Michele Limongi, born in Maratea. He emigrated to Cartagena and there he changed his name to Miguel Monche and Celiberto. He got married twice, from the second marriage he had a son, José Monche Garcia. Then he moved to Mazarrón where he got married for the third time to Josefa-Liboria Vélez with whom he had 11 children, of whom the ninth is my great-grandfather, Felipe Monche Vélez.
We know that someone went to Maratea to look for information about the family but we didn't get anything. We also know that we have family in Mazarrón but we are not in touch anymore

My father was born in France from a mother of Maratea origin, Rosine Faraco. His father was born in Maratea, but I do not know his origin, he was an immigrant from Poland or Bulgaria. I have to spend my next holidays in Maratea to visit the cemetery and pay my respects at the grave of the Faraco family and to go to the town hall to inquire about the civil status of my grandfather, who I believe was the direct descendant of Chopin.

My great-great-grandfather was called Daniele Di Francesco Antonio Faraco, he was 31 years old when he came to Brazil in 1872, on the ship "poitou", with some brothers, who probably stayed in Buenos Aires-Argentina and other countries in South America. On the website www.myheritage.com.br, there are photographs of him here in Brazil. I would like to have information about the names of his parents. He got married to my great-grandmother in Brazil, her name was Luiza Martini.
